Confessing Church Movement now numbers 150 congregations

Just  weeks old, the Confessing Church Movement within the Presbyterian Church (USA) now numbers 150 congregations with more than 49,250 members, according to reports made to the Presbyterian Lay Committee.

Thirteen congregations reported May 17 that they had united with the Confessing Churches, a movement that began in Pennsylvania and now has spread to 32 states and Puerto Rico.

The most recent congregations to endorse the Confessing Church Movement includes:

A. Montreat Presbyterian Church in Montreat, N.C., with 309 members.
B. Providence Presbyterian Church in Hilton Head, S.C., with 700 members.
C. Calvin Presbyterian Church in Corvalls, Ore., with 116 members.
D. First Presbyterian Church in Wolf Point, Mont., with 103 members.
E. Presbyterian-Reformed Church in Willow Lake, S.D., with 70 members.
F. Bear Grass Presbyterian Church in Williamston, N.C., with 86 members.
G. First Presbyterian Church in Wayne, Mich., with 44 members.
H. Foster-Tukwila Presbyterian Church in Tukwila, Wash., with 159 members.
I. Forest Park Presbyterian Church in Hutchinson, Kan., with 210 members.
J. Middle Sandy Presbyterian Church in Homeworth, Ohio, with 156 members.
K. First Presbyterian Church in Miami Springs, Fla., with 180 members.
L. First Presbyterian Church in Humboldt, Tenn., with 142 members.
M. Faith Presbyterian Church in Brownsville, Texas, with 101 members.
